Seafarers House holiday home is well appointed for up to 6 people.
Ideal for honeymoons, getaways for two, taking your parents on a
well deserved Kangaroo Island holiday or as a family escape where
the children can enjoy the Island's beaches, wildlife and freedom
from city living.
This three bedroom holiday home is on the top floor with storage
below. There are no internal stairs - the house being on one level
and accessed by the main door up the driveway alongside the carport.
Seafarers House facilities include:
- Large open plan lounge/dining/kitchen.
- Colour TV, Video and DVD player (bring along your favourites
- or you can hire from nearby Grimshaws Store in Penneshaw).
- Comfortable lounge and dining seating.
- Fully equipped kitchen, including large fridge/freezer, all
crockery, cutlery, dishwasher, microwave, electric stove &
hot plates.
- Enclosed verandah for watching the ferries come and go, and
in the distance seeing the ocean going cargo freighters which
ply across Backstairs Passage - fully enclosed and safe for children.
- Bedrooms:
- 1 with Queen bed, large walk-in wardrobe, bedside lights/cabinets
- 1 with Queen bed, bedside lights/cabinets
- 1 with two King Single Beds, cupboards/light/bedside chest
All beds have pillows, blankets, doonas and linen with towels
supplied
- Large bathroom with Spa bath, light/heating, shower, toilet,
hair dryer, vanity and ample bench & cupboard area
- Separate toilet
- Laundry with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron & ironing
board
- Outside washing line
- Reverse cycle air conditioning in the main part of the house
- Under cover carport
- Secluded paved area out the back
- Paved area out front with BBQ and outdoor seating/table/lawn
Housekeeping
- Seafarers House is rented as a self contained holiday home.
Please bring all your own food, beverages and toiletries. Toilet
paper, garbage bags, towels, detergents and cleaning products
are provided.
- PETS - Sorry, under no circumstances are pets allowed.
- SMOKING - Strictly NO SMOKING INSIDE THE HOUSE
